This Adorable Pup is Tesla!
This playful pit bull mix has the cutest smile and expressions—look at that pouty face! Tesla is a charming dog who loves spending time with his people. This good boy is 3 years old and weighs 55 pounds.
Tesla was rescued from a shelter in Texas, where shelter overcrowding leaves adoptable animals at risk of euthanasia. Luckily, Tesla avoided this fate when rescuers saw this loving pup could be somebody’s perfect companion. Now Tesla, who has been practicing his manners in foster care, is ready to find his forever home!
This clever pup is already crate- and potty-trained and knows basic commands, but he’ll need maintenance leash training to practice not pulling and redirection. Fortunately, Tesla is food-motivated and likes pleasing his people, which will make training easy!
Tesla loves kids and dogs (especially puppies) and gets pretty excited when he sees his doggy friends. He does best with submissive dogs, but he’s easily redirected on a leash. Tesla’s affections don’t extend to cats, however, so he will require a cat-free home.
This former shelter pup adores being outside. Tesla would do best with an active family that will take him on walks, hikes, and other outdoor adventures.
But while Tesla enjoys all types of activities with his pack—from running errands to riding in the car—this laid-back dog also knows how to chill. According to his foster mom, Tesla really likes sunbathing. He would enjoy a home with a yard because he loves laying outside.
At home, Tesla is very calm and cuddly, curling up beside you on the couch, bed, or near your feet. A good belly scratch and a plush toy is enough to keep him happy while he snuggles with you!
Tesla’s adoption fee is $650, which includes vaccinations, neutering, heartworm prevention treatment, a collar and microchip with lifetime registration, and transport from Texas to Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, or Canada. Tesla can’t wait to meet his forever family in the Pacific Northwest!
