Dr. Clare Foley Joins Seattle Pup Magazine


We are happy to introduce Dr. Clare Foley, the newest member of the Seattle Pup Pack. Her column, "Ask the Vet" begins in July!

Dr. Clare Foley was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She moved to the Pacific Northwest seven years ago for a new job. Dr. Foley has worked in emergency medicine for the past ten years. Prior to veterinary school, for over 15 years, she worked as a veterinary technician and managed a small animal practice back in New Orleans. She attended veterinary school in the Cayman Islands and

received all her clinical training at Purdue University in Indiana. She currently works for Diamond Veterinary Hospital in Everett. Dr. Foley belongs to the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society as well as Vetgirl on the Run which is a site for vet professionals which provides practical, clinically relevant continuing education.

Dr. Foley has a passion for emergency medicine, feline internal

medicine, and of course, food! (She IS from New Orleans!) She also really enjoys educating clients about animal health and the disease processes. She shares her home with her significant other, two kids, two Australian Shepherds, and three cats.
