FOOD RECALL! Blue Ridge Beef Pet Food/Listeria



Blue Ridge Beef of Eatonton, Georgia, has announced ANOTHER voluntary recall. This time it is recalling one lot of its Turkey with Bone raw frozen products due to possible Listeria contamination.

The affected products are sold in 2 lb chubs and can be identified with the following manufacturing code:

Lot #103 mfd12716 Turkey with bone UPC code 854298001887

Not only can Listeria affect your pet, humans can also suffer from contamination after handing the product or touching surfaces where the product has been. Symptoms include: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bloody diarrhea, abdominal cramping, and fever. For more details about Listeria, visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website.

What to do:

STOP feeding this product to your animals. Keep an eye on your animal and yourself and if you or your pet have symptoms seek medical help.

RETURN the product to the store where you bought it and get a full refund or Or DISPOSE of the product.
